Let us customize AI prompt that creates the AI-assisted review
The premise is great. But the reviews sound the same. That’s alright, especially to start. But a major problem is when AI hallucinates something that absolutely didn’t happen.
Example, I run a digital results studio. A website revamp client used Spokk. Based on his 5-star reviews across the board, AI presumed they were “struggling to get traffic” AND that they were “already seeing more clients coming in” after the revamp.
This is not quite the case, and no star ratings allude to either of these scenarios.
We don’t want clients to feel like their being led to give a falsified review. I wish there was a way to say more about what the business actually does in a clear way that would very obviously influence what AI then says — and what it doesn’t.

Hey, we had a look at this and we had added a fix so that it does not hallucinate and add information it does not have.
The AI prompt has a lot of logic inside it so I don’t think we can let companies rewrite it. Having said that, we are open for ideas to continue to improve the AI review and make it as close to human written as possible.
Here are a few ideas we have in mind as future implementation.
Give a few buttons to rewrite and improve the prompt for customers. Make it shorter, longer, rewrite, etc. So that customers can play around with the output until they find something they like.
Give a small area to copy/paste some of their own writing to match their writing style when generating a review.
What do you think? Always open for new ideas.

I don’t think that normal humans would sit and copy paste their precreated reviews as input. There is a reason fpr this tool right? & it is to make it easier to “write” an review. It should be possible to give more context and possible options so that the review itself is more divers & also based on the tonalty the brand has.

Once the AI is generated, if you tap on the personalize review button, you will see you can answer questions set up by the company. Once you answer them, the review will be even more personalized based on the answers. That being said, we are continuously looking for ways to give more control over the reviews. We are working on this and will be releasing an update soon. Thank you for your feedback.

Hi again.
I think #1 defeats the purpose. Most people won’t use buttons to customize their review. It would probably feel weird. (Especially since most of them already gave their comments on the screen before, which may have been rewritten into an AI sounding thing.) Also agree that #2 is even less likely.
It seems best that the system just uses the comments the user already entered to adopt their writing style and what they want to highlight. Just fleshing it out to be a bit longer, BY using their star ratings. (Does that make sense?)
Through analysis, seems our users have expected their comments TO be posted to Google, vs. outputting a brand new AI thing that seems to say something completely different than they did. They’ve only gone on to post it in some cases because they agreed with what it did say, I would presume.
What do you think?

Hey, thank you for your valuable input.
Currently there is no way to autopost to Google or any other review platform. So the next best solution is to generate something users are happy with posting, right? This is why we thought of providing customization options. It is honestly trial and error.
Most users that give feedback do not write anything - they just fill in the stars and submit the form, so generating a review draft from that is where it gets tricky, this is why we thought of giving a few buttons to regenerate, make it longer, shorter, etc.
After your feedback, here’s what I think we can do
If there is text given, try to copy their writing style and write the review around whatever they wrote.
Include the options to make it longer, shorter, adjust tone and regenerate (so that people can adjust to find something they are happy with)
Give a section for the business to provide custom instructions
Make the process more clearer - you need to copy the generated review on external review platforms, etc.
What do you think?

Hey—
As a business strategist, I think it’d be best to talk to someone like myself — and also to do user tests and/or surveys.
Live tests let you see the sticking points. Qualitative surveys help you know what your users really want. (Or at least say that they want.)
Anything else, and we’re honestly just speculating. :)

Yea, that’s true but I feel that volume of people is key here. Optimization is something that has to be step by step by getting feedback at every step of the way. I feel the best we can do is release a bunch of features and see how the companies use them and experiment with the features so that they will provide us with the best way forward. I think this is the most effective and easiest way forward and we can scrap the ones that aren’t used much later on.
