Not working

Hi team,

I’m getting a bit frustrated with Spokk now. It feels like the product is still quite new and hasn’t been properly tested before launching it to the public.

Please log in to my account and review the auto-generated feedback form I’ve set up. Check how it currently works:

  • If a customer wants to leave negative feedback, there is no separate message or clear path for them to do anything helpful.

  • If there is an option for that, then there is no option to send a coupon to customers who leave a 5-star review.

  • When a customer leaves a 1-star rating and submits, the button still says “Submit Review” instead of something like “Contact Us”, and after submitting it just shows an error and doesn’t do anything.

Please fix this, re-check the whole form flow, and make sure it works as intended.
I’m happy to jump on a screen-share so you can see the issue live, or you can watch how it behaves from my account to identify the problem.

Thank you.

PS: I give consent to you to login to my account to verify or fix the setup.

    Hey Bharat,

I added myself as a member to your account and reviewed your full setup. Here’s what I found and what I’ve fixed:

    1. Negative feedback flow

To show a separate message for low ratings, the Gating option needs to be enabled. I created a new gated link inside your dashboard so you can see the correct flow.
Now, if a customer leaves 4 stars or below, they will see a separate message and a “Contact Us” action instead of being sent to the review page.

    2. Sending a coupon to 5-star customers only

Email collection can be turned on at all times.
Once that’s enabled, you can send coupons or rewards specifically to customers who leave a 5-star overall rating directly from your dashboard.

    3. Incorrect button text + error on low ratings

There was a bug affecting verified links, which caused the “Submit Review” button to appear even for 1-star ratings, and it led to an error after submission. This issue has now been fixed.
In the new gated form I created for you, you will now see the button correctly change to “Contact Us” for low ratings, and the submission works properly.

We do not encourage review gating, and this feature should be used at your own discretion. Please note that Google may penalize or fine businesses that are found to be filtering or discouraging negative reviews.

Please test the updated flow and confirm whether this matches what you want.
The form settings are very flexible, so you can adjust them further if needed. If you need help with anything else, I’m happy to assist.
